Hand painted on various wood boards intended for use in construction, they have been sanded down, drilled together and repurposed to create my piece “In the Locker Room.”
I was inspired by the communal showers I often used after the gym while traveling around Czechia. Raw masculinity and steam filled the air as you share a moment of vulnerability and openness among strangers. I aimed to capture that with this painting.
