A photographer with a background in adventure.
Born around the mountains of Georgia, a need to explore has been instilled in me from a very young age. Both my parents were ice climbers and helped me learn to love the world around me. My love for capturing human connection came after a trip to New York forced me to turn my camera away from the mountains and towards the swarms of people crowding the streets. In those hoards I found something unexpected. I saw old couples laughing at street performers and servers smoking on their breaks. I decided then that these moments we skip past, are the moments we should remember. seeing. Everyday life from a new perspective can showcase each person's unique humanity.
I still love adventure, but now my camera follows the people as they take their own.
